Overview
A revenue and payout platform that replaces messy multi-platform Excel exports with admin and vendor portals — upload reports, calculate commissions, track payments, and let vendors see their own numbers.
Problem
Earnings lived across inconsistent Excel/CSV exports from many platforms. The team needed one place for vendors, report upload, commission math, payout tracking, and vendor self-serve visibility — with QuickBooks in scope later.
Solution
Built an admin portal for vendors, platforms, uploads, commission calculation, and payment marking, plus a view-only vendor portal for monthly revenue, platform breakdowns, and payout history. Earlier FastAPI/Postgres tooling supported audit-style report review.
Architecture
PostgreSQL as the system of record. FastAPI phase for structured report ingest and audit. Full web portals for admin and vendor workflows, with optional QuickBooks Online integration scoped for accounting handoff.
