Tattoo Studio Inbox Automation

Overview

An intake automation system for tattoo studios drowning in Instagram and WhatsApp DMs. It qualifies clear tattoo leads safely, supports multi-tenant account states, and keeps a human inbox when automation should stay off.

Problem

Studios lose bookings when artists cannot keep up with DMs. Pure chatbot blasts feel spammy and unsafe; studios need selective automation plus a real inbox for edge cases.

Solution

Built a backend that ingests Meta Instagram and WhatsApp messages, applies rule-based intent with an optional AI fallback, delays replies to feel human, runs a tattoo intake questionnaire, and exposes a mobile-first inbox with templates and automation toggles.

Architecture

FastAPI service on Supabase/PostgreSQL. Meta Graph and WhatsApp Cloud APIs for messaging. Unified inbox labels, template storage, and multi-tenant account configuration for studio teams.
